Handheld Angiographic Injector
Bridging the Gap
between basic syringes & power injectors

Angiography is a gold-standard imaging modality for evaluating cardiovascular disease and guiding devices through vessels during interventional procedures. Rapid contrast media injection can improve image quality, reduce the amount of contrast required per run, and reduce time-to-opacification -- resulting in reduced fluoroscopy exposure for patients and cath lab staff.

There are two types of devices that are commonly used for angiographic injection:

  • Basic Control Syringes

  • Electromechanical Injectors

Basic control syringes are low-cost, easy to use, and provide improved tactile feedback to clinicians during injection; however, their low pressure and relatively slow injection speeds limit their ability to opacify distal vasculature.

Electromechanical injectors offer fast, powerful injection for improved visualization, but compromise tactile feedback and require expensive capital equipment and consumables.

The PowrSyringe is a novel, single-use, handheld angiographic injector that delivers up to 120% faster injection speeds compared to basic control syringes, improving image quality without compromising tactile feedback.

All-in-One Disposable Design
Hand-Controlled,
Mechanically-Assisted Injection

Simply connect to any catheter or manifold and load contrast media to inject with speed and ergonomic control -- no capital equipment required.

Delivers up to 120% faster injection speeds compared to basic control syringes, which may improve image quality, decrease contrast delivery, and reduce fluoroscopic exposure.
